Was an American jazz musician who achieved the rare distinction of releasing a series of instrumental jazz albums that often charted on Billboard.

George Benson

A former child prodigy, Benson first came to prominence in the 1960s, playing soul jazz with Jack McDuff and others. He then launched a successful solo career, alternating between jazz, pop, R&B singing, and scat singing.

Buddy Rich

Known for his virtuoso technique, power and speed, Rich was billed as “the world’s greatest drummer” during his career.
